Der Hase und das Teer

Ich weiß nicht mehr genau, ob Kaarlo Vatanen und sein Hase auf ihrer Reise durch Finnland auch nach Kainuu kamen, aber dieser Hase wird sicher dort ankommen. Viele Grüße in die ehemalige Teerstadt Kajaani!

    Well, "Teerstadt" means just "town of tar". There is very much wood in the Kainuu region, so Kajaani had become the center for tar trading once.

    Bunny! I have a baby bunny living in my backyard right now. He is very cute, but he keeps eating things I would prefer he did not.

    Is he living alone, or are his parents close by?

    There is at least one adult around. I see him/her in the yard with the baby sometimes.
