1.7k+16k # 36min+1½h @ 23°C (7pm) | Wolkenlos

  1. Are those crab apples? What does the W & M in the horseshoe-like structure mean?

It was about 90+ degrees here today, a very uncomfortable September 1.

  2. Oh, you are right, those blooms look indeed like crab apples, but it has been only a small flower planted in a flower tub in front of the nearby school.

Unfortunately, I don't know what the W & M at the entrance to the bridle path mean. Maybe the abbreviation of the equestrian club who cares for the path...?

Temperatures are forecast in the mid 80s for tomorrow, quite warm for early September here!

  3. I did not know the word "crab apples" before, so I suppose I have been misled in my previous comment by a picture of flowering crab apples at Wikipedia (http://is.gd/tcKUZW).

But autumn is coming, thus there are no more blooming apple trees, but many ripe fruits (http://is.gd/8kXo34).

Well, what are those red fruits? I guess they are rather rose hips, but unfortunately I do not know it...

  4. I thought they might be rose hips when you said they where a flower.
