Amélie (II)

Nach der portugiesischen Ausgabe der Fabelhaften Welt der Amélie nun die japanische. Natürlich geschrieben in Katakana: アメリ. Dazu die Erinnerung, daß ich diesem Film, der mir einst nicht so recht gefallen wollte, irgendwann einmal eine zweite Chance geben wollte...

    I still love that movie! Do you speak French well enough to not need subtitles? I would guess that a lot of nuances are missed in translation.

    Unfortunately my French is nowhere near sufficient to watch French movies in their original versions without German subtitles. Though it would be interesting to watch them with French subtitles - how much would I be able to understand if I do not have to listen to the spoken language but when I can read what they are saying...? (Reading is so much simpler for me than listening!)
