Neujahrsausflüge 2011

Dieses Jahr war Neujahr sogar zwei Tage lang: Winter im Vogelsberg und Winter in der Rhön.

    Yes, it was built in the 1920s as a memorial for the dead pilots of World War I. Nowadays it is a memorial for all airmen of any nationality. By the way, the Wasserkuppe (the hill where this picture is from) is a well-known center of German sailplane flight.
