Nachtrag: Adaptive Währungsumrechnung

Wenn man angesichts der Euro-Krise und der damit verbundenen Stärke des Franken etwas in der Schweiz lernen kann, ist es die adaptive Währungsumrechnung: Man verwendet also nicht den offiziellen Wechselkurs (0.85), sondern rechnet die Preise so um (0.50), daß sie in etwa denen in Deutschland entsprechen. Ansonsten läuft man Gefahr, aus lauter Sparsamkeit zu verhungern...

Sollte man allerdings nicht länger als ein paar Tage machen - denn sonst ist die Urlaubskasse wirklich leer!

  2. Yes, I got something to eat... But I had to use a self-defined currency exchange rate instead of the official one. Otherwise I would have had to say too often: "No, that's too expensive."

    The Swiss tourism economy suffers from the weak euro currency, as it increases the prices for services and products to tourists. That's the dark side if a country's own currency is too strong. But honestly those economic issues are often a bit hard for me to understand...
