Buckelwale

Buckelwale sind erstaunliche Tiere! Sie haben nicht nur einen einzigartigen Gesang, sie verfügen auch über eine erstaunliche Jagdtechnik: Erst umkreisen sie ihre Beute und erzeugen dann mit Hilfe von Luftbläschen aus ihrem Blasloch eine unüberwindbare Falle, so daß es schließlich ein leichtes ist zuzuschlagen.

    I hope that I will be able to see an adult whale next year. By law the boat cannot get closer than 100 yards (or something like that). So it is hard to see a baby, but an adult would be easy to see.

    Yes, we are planning to go next year. My brother-in-law will still be there next year, so we can do all the things we couldn't do this year! We will also be visiting another island along with O'ahu.
