Nach etwas mehr als sechs Wochen kam per Brief meine erste Verzeigung aus der Schweiz: Eine Übertretungsanzeige wegen Überschreiten der Höchstgeschwindigkeit in Zürich um 3 km/h. Ja, nicht nur Schweizer Uhren sind genau...Des weiteren ist es für ein Land, in dem eine normale Pizza 17 Euro kostet, keineswegs überraschend, daß der Bussenbetrag für ein solches Vergehen bei 40 Franken liegt. Immerhin: Ich darf in Euro bezahlen!
Bleibt noch die stille Hoffnung, daß ich in den nächsten Tagen nicht noch mehr Post aus der Schweiz erhalte...

... and many, many more.
So, I hope I will not have to look at those tables when visiting Minnesota!
I think you will be fine. Just don't speed near a school or around houses.

Yes, they are well marked. There is a weird trend at some stores to add unofficial specialty parking spaces. You can't get in real trouble for parking there, but I avoid them anyway.
