Neujahr im Chinesischen Kalender

Ein neues Jahr hat heute begonnen, zumindest nach dem Chinesischen Kalender. Gefeiert wird traditionell mit viel Feuerwerk - und der Glück verheißenden Farbe Rot. Alles Gute im Jahr der Schlange!

    At first I thought this was two stamps. I was very surprised when I realized it was only one stamp. Two of them take up a lot of space on a postcard!

    They have raised the rates for postcards again now it is $1.10. A first class stamp is now .46¢. So now when you use two of them on a postcard you need to come up with .18¢ more. This is going to be mostly impossible. You would have to add a .10¢, a .05¢ and three .01¢ stamps to make the correct postage. You will have covered the entire back by then! There are some other denominations, but it is hard to just get one or two of them. Also, it is hard to find post offices with a good selection of stamps. Oh my stamp woes!
