Nabucco

Is this a very bloody movie?
AntwortenLöschenWell, maybe the references to other movies has led you astray, it was an opera. But your assumption was quite right: It tells the Biblical Story of the Jewish exile in Babylon, so at least the decor of act I was unusually bloody. Though it was a great event, especially because I attended the performance with my friends Jörg and Francis from Düsseldorf. It took place in the Aalto Theater in Essen, designed by the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto (http://is.gd/golube). I have sent a postcard from there to myself, but I'm wondering why it has not arrived yet...
AntwortenLöschenYes, the translation was a bit hard to understand. It is strange that the postcard has not arrived yet. That happens here too. Sometimes I send mail to my mother, who only lives 50 miles away, and it takes a week or more to get there.
