Büffel in New York

So wie der Wisent in Europa war auch sein Verwandter in den USA fast ausgestorben. Doch mittlerweile leben selbst im Bundesstaat New York wieder Büffel - wo es übrigens auch eine Großstadt namens Buffalo gibt!

    There is a city in Minnesota called Buffalo too. It is not named after the large horned animal however. Nope, it is named after a fish!

    That's indeed interesting, I haven't heard of that fish before. Well, Buffalo MN is not so far away from Coon Rapids, maybe I will visit it coincidentally someday...

    Yes, there is not much to see in Buffalo. It is a nice enough town though.
