Shinkansen

Was wäre ein Besuch in Japan ohne ein Fahrt mit dem Shinkansen...? Bei durchschnittlich nur 6 Sekunden Verspätung erblast der Mitteleuropäer vor Neid und Ehrfurcht! Passend zum Reisfeld der Postkarte gibt's auf der Briefmarke ein Weizenfeld in der Präfektur Tochigi.

    I read a story a month or so ago about a rare time a Japanese train was late. A cat was trapped below the train and they saved it before taking off. I could not find a link to the article for you, but I did find this fun link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tama_(cat)
