1.8k # 38min @ 19°C (8pm) | Bewölkt, aber auch Sonne

Nach zwei Minuten stand eigentlich das heutige Motto fest: Pilze im Wald. Aber es ist wohl doch noch etwas zu früh dafür (allerdings bin ich kein Pilzsammler und habe vermutlich die meisten nicht gesehen). Daher diese bunte Mischung von Eindrücken aus dem Wald - sowie dem Fest der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Obertshausen.

  2. It's a slug. This species is quite common here, but I don't like them. They are somehow ugly...

    By the way, I have just learnt that the English language distinguishes between "snails" and "slugs" whereas the German word "Schnecke" encompasses all those species, independent of having a shell or not.

  3. That explains our discussion on snails last week. I would expect to see slugs in the garden, but not snails. Though, I suppose, a slug is just a snail without a shell.

  4. You're right, the slugs are those which you can find in gardens. By the way, snails (with a shell) are a quite popular delicacy in France - but I haven't tried them yet and I really do not know if I would do it...

  5. I have never had snails either. I believe that Rodney has though. It sounds a bit gross to me.
