Wotring's Resort on Big Sandy Lake

Das Wotring's Resort am Big Sandy Lake in Minnesota erfreute als eines der ersten seine Gäste bereits in den 1920er Jahren, damals noch ohne Klimaanlage und wohl ohne elektrisches Licht. Einfachheit kann eine Bereicherung sein und zugleich ein Beitrag zum Umweltschutz. Go Green! Thank you very much, Ronda!

    It can be very humid here. Air conditioning makes life much more comfortable, but a wind off a lake works pretty well too.

    I have been living without the experience of an air conditioning for a long time, and I didn't miss it. But after having moved to new office rooms we have an AC at work, and I must admit that it can be quite useful in hot summers...

    Of course if you have expensive computer servers at work you need to keep them cool.
