Leuchtturm Isokari

Der Leuchtturm von Isokari am nördlichen Rand des Schärenmeeres liegt auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinde Kustavi, durch die unter anderem der seit 1638 benutzte Postweg zwischen Turku und Stockholm verläuft.

    It is because lighthouse's are in such lonely places that they are so intriguing?

    Yes, I think so. Even if no other people were living on an island, there was at least a lighthouse keeper (in those times when lighthouses have not been automated yet).
